Market review
Proposals are reviewed for eligibility, clear terms, reliable outcome sources, manipulation risk and conflicts of interest. Reviewers can approve a proposal, request changes or reject it.
Trading begins only after MTC approval and completion of the market’s opening requirements.

Questions with ambiguous outcomes, unreliable sources or unacceptable manipulation risk may be declined. A proposal must meet applicable product restrictions and listing criteria.

Eligible creators can trade their own markets after MTC approval where the market terms allow it. Creators must disclose relevant interests and cannot approve or resolve their own markets. Trading against your own or related accounts is prohibited. Existing markets keep their original restrictions.

Do not manipulate prices or outcomes, coordinate abusive trades, misuse confidential information or use linked accounts to evade restrictions. Suspicious activity may result in review or restricted access.

A limit order specifies an outcome, quantity and price. Orders may fill in part, remain open or be cancelled before execution. Matching follows price and time priority.
Buy orders reserve funds; sell orders reserve owned contracts. Reserved amounts remain unavailable for other orders or withdrawal until released.

Resolution follows the market’s published outcome source, observation period and payout rules. An authorized reviewer records the evidence and proposed result, which requires MTC approval by a separate operator.
Contact support to raise a concern about the evidence or application of the published terms.

MTC reserves the right, at its reasonable discretion and acting in good faith, to pause trading, close a market to new orders, or cancel a contract or market when necessary to protect market integrity or ensure fair resolution, subject to applicable law and the market’s published rules.
Reasons may include an outcome becoming ambiguous after trading begins; unavailable, conflicting or unverifiable outcome evidence; or a real-world event being cancelled, postponed, abandoned or materially changed in a way that falls outside the contract’s published scope. Material changes may include changes to participants, event format, timing or measurement methods that significantly affect the possible outcomes.
MTC will first apply the contract’s published resolution rules and any stated fallback provisions. A cancelled or changed real-world event does not automatically make the market NO or cancel the market. If the published rules still provide a clear result, those rules apply. A price change or a change in the likelihood of an outcome alone is not a reason to cancel.
Trading may be paused while MTC reviews the situation. Cancelling a market requires a recorded reason, supporting evidence and MTC approval by two separate operators. MTC will publish notice of the decision, its reasons and the applicable payout treatment as soon as practicable. Participants may contact support to request a review.
MTC can cancel a market before observation ends when its published terms and escrow support early cancellation. Two separate MTC operators must approve the decision. YES and NO resolution still wait until observation ends.
Cancelling an order returns only unused buy-order funds or releases unsold contracts. Cancelling a whole market pays current holders under its published cancellation rule. Existing markets pay 0.50 USDC per YES or NO contract; completed trades and fees are not reversed.
Claiming a payout credits your market funds. Withdraw from the market to move those funds into your wallet.

After resolution, payouts follow the contract’s published terms and the positions held at settlement. Unused available funds can be withdrawn from a market to your wallet.
Pending transfers, reserved funds and account restrictions can affect availability. Review the amount, destination and network before confirming a transfer.
